Get Lost!: Maps and Brochures
Maps are always a good investment in any strange country and the best for general touring purposes is the aptly named Scottish Touring Map.

It includes most of the important attractions and facilities in each area and is accompanied by a useful little book, the Touring Guide.

Various 'What's On?' guides are useful indicators of events as well as places of interest in each town, city or region and can be obtained in the relevant local Tourist Information centre.
