Travelling to Scotland - By Rail...
The main railway links into Scotland come from London via the east and west routes.

GNER operate the East Coast Service from London's Kings Cross Station to Edinburgh (4.5 hours approx) and Aberdeen (7 hours approx) while Virgin Trains operate the West Coast Service to Glasgow (5 hours approx). Onward connections from any of these stations are available through Scotrail.

Scotrail also operates the Caledonian Sleeper service overnight from London's Euston Station to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness and Fort William every night from Sunday to Friday.
